The Indian captain has not looked at his fluent best at the T20 World Cup 2022 so far. He started the campaign with four runs against arch-rivals Pakistan in the first Super 12 clash. he did bounce back with a half-century, slamming 53 runs off 39 deliveries against the Netherlands.
However, he looked far from his best as there were plenty of mistimed shots throughout the innings. Now, with a big match against South Africa coming up on Sunday, one can expect the premier India batter to play a captain’s knock and take more responsibility as a batter

The chase master Kohli is back one can believe after his scintillating knock (82*) against Pakistan in the first Super 12 Group match. The former India captain looked composed in his approach as he built his innings slowly before taking on an aggressive intent to guide his side home.
He carried on the momentum in India’s second Super 12 match against the Netherlands where he registered an unbeaten 62 runs in a winning cause. His two consecutive half-centuries has made him the most runs scorer for India at the ongoing World Cup and if he continues in a similar fashion throughout the marquee event then his lead over Sharma can extend furthermore.
