IND vs SA 2nd ODI: Quinton de Kock decimated the Indian bowling attack to all parts of the ground with a fine innings on Friday at Paarl. De Kock made full use of the powerplay as he played some aggressive cricket shots, especially against the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin early in the innings. The 29-year-old got to his 50 in just 36 balls, putting South Africa in pole position in their chase of 287.
It was also De Kock’s seventh score of fifty or more against India in ODIs. In previous attempts, De Kock converted five of his fifties into centuries and Kl Rahul and Co. will hope to halt that carnage at Paarl as early as they can. The Proteas opener enjoys a fine record against the Men in Blue, averaging in excess of 60 at the time of batting in the IND vs SA 2nd ODI.
