Mohd Shami 5 scalps away from 200 Test wickets:
After being rested from the home series against New Zealand, Mohd Shami will be returning to red-ball format with the first Test at Centurion. Shami will be eying a special feat of picking 200 Test wickets.
- In 54 matches, M Shami has picked up 195 wickets and need 5 more to complete 200 Test wickets
- Shami has picked up 21 wickets in 5 Test matches on South African soil

Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer is likely to sit on the bench with Hanuma Vihari in prime form for India A against South Africa A earlier this month. The latter had slammed 3 consecutive fifties. Besides this, Iyer will have to fight for a place against experienced Ajinkya Rahane in the lineup. Iyer had slammed century and fifty in the Kanpur Test but failed to do well in the Mumbai Test.
