Jasprit Bumrah had landed awkwardly on his right ankle during a follow-through in only his sixth over and missed much of the second session having treatment in the dressing room. Fortunately for India, the pacer returned to action later in the second innings in what is a huge sigh of relief for the India team for the rest of the series.
Bumrah was welcomed in a unique way by Indian skipper Virat Kohli, which was heard on the stump mic. “Finally, the Rock has come back,” Kohli was heard saying and unsurprisingly, the comment went viral.

The comment was a reference to Dwayne Johnson’s epic comeback into the WWE arena, having returned to the show after an eight-year hiatus in 2011. Kohli’s catchphrase was instantly the talk of the town with fans seeing the funny side of things.

As far as the match is concerned, India are in pole position having set a mammoth 305-run target for South Africa. India were all out for 328 in the first innings, but courtesy of a five-wicket haul from Mohammed Shami, the proteas were bundled out for 197. India then were cleaned up for 174, setting a record chase for the South Africans at Centurion.
