Meanwhile, Team India was welcomed on the red carpet with garba at Sayaji Hotel. Skipper Rishabh Pant was given a suite room on the 8th floor of Sayaji Hotel, which is decorated in a Rajasthani team, using beds, chairs, pillows and bathtubs from Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the Proteas skipper Temba Bavuma has also got special treatment, as he has been given a presidential room on the 8th floor of the Fortune Hotel.
According to reports in News18 Gujarati, the players’ rooms of both the teams will have 100 Mbps speed internet as well as various other facilities including gym, swimming pool, spa. Besides that, special cold drinks have been prepared keeping in view the hot and humid climate of Rajkot. In Hotel Sayaji, coach Rahul Dravid, senior player Hardik Pandya and others have been given ‘presidential’ and other players have been given premium rooms. The whole floor is decorated with a ‘royal theme’.

Hotel Sayaji will serve Dhokli, Rajasthani Dalbati, Ghughra, Ghevar Rabadi, Kair Sangri, Indori Chaat as well as extra roti made by Rasoya from Vadodara to the players of Team India.
Meanwhile, Gujarati food Dhokla-Gathiya will also be served to the African players along with the special rui bush tea, so as to give Bavuma & Co. a taste of the local flavours. However, they will not solely consume Indian food, as their menu also contains French toast, international cheese, flavored milk, pancakes, multigrain cookies, protein bars, low fat Greek yoghurt, and pasta for breakfast. Besides that, Fortune hotel has also put up huge posters of the South African stars.
Meanwhile, as for the cricketing side of things, this will be a do-or-die game for the Indians. After losing the first two matches in Delhi and Cuttack, the men in blue bounced back in style in Visakhapatnam, but the job is not done yet as they are still trailing by a 2-1 margin.
