Undoubtedly the most impactful player for GT in terms of match-winning performance. Miller has again solidified his reputation as the finisher in the IPL. The southpaw has scored a colossal 481 from 16 matches at an impressive strike rate of 142.73. Walking in at the number five position, the South African remained unbeaten on the majority of run-chases and finished the matches for his team with a cool and composed approach. In the Qualifier 1 and the finals, Miller scored crucial runs to guide GT to victory.
Miller’s stellar performance in the IPL has impressed SA skipper Temba Bavuma. He has said he will now have an open conversation with him about his batting position. The GT finisher’s rousing performance is sure not a good sign for KL Rahul-led India

- Kagiso Rabada – 23 wickets in 13 matches
PBKS pacer Kagiso Rabada yet again proved why he is the most valuable bowler in the shortest format of the game. The right-arm pacer was one of the bright prospects of the team in their otherwise dismal campaign. Rabada picked up wickets in the power play and death overs and restricted the opposition from posting big totals. The PBKS pacer is in good form and he will look to take wickets upfront of Indian batters in the power play and death overs.
- Aiden Markram – 381 runs in 14 matches
SRH batter Aiden Markram got back his mojo in the IPL 2022 season. He batted at the pivotal number four position and scored 381 runs. In SRH’s run of five consecutive victories in the league stage of IPL, Markram played a massive hand. The right-hand batter looked composed at the crease and played according to the match situation. Markram’s return to form will please the South African management.
- Anrich Nortje – 9 wickets 6 matches
DC pacer Anrich Nortje could not set the IPL stage on fire with his performance. He picked up just nine wickets from six games with an economy rate of 9.72 runs per over. Nortje though showed glimpses of returning to form in the latter stages of IPL. That should encourage SA skipper Bavuma and he will expect some match-winning performances from the DC bowler.

- Quinton de Kock – 508 runs 15 matches
LSG opener Quinton de Kock provided the team blazing start upfront. In the majority of the matches, QDK took the pressure of KL Rahul and attacked from word go. The southpaw scored 508 runs at a superb strike-rate of 148.97. The wicketkeeper-batter played one of the innings of IPL by smashing 140 against KKR. That innings was all class and showed the vintage De Kock of 2016 and 2017.
