Bhuvneshwar Kumar was at his very best on Sunday as he foxed the Pakistan batsmen with his incredible variations in Dubai. Bowling with the new ball, Bhuvi kept Mohammad Rizwan in check, before bowling a surprise bumper to get rid of the dangerous Babar Azam for just 10.
His second spell came at the death where the veteran put the breaks on Pakistan’s chance of going big in the death overs. His slower delivery got the better of hard-hitter Asif Ali, dismissing him for 9. In his final over, the 32-year-old got wickets off successive deliveries as Shadab Khan and Naseem Shah were plumb in front failing to judge a peach of a slower ball.

The 32-year-old finished with figures of 4/26 and now has nine wickets against the Men in Green, the most by an Indian against Pakistan. The previous record was held by left-arm seamer Irfan Pathan.
