IND vs PAK LIVE: The images of the same went viral in no time. Thus, it is safe to say that Sharma will play aggressively against the fast bowler. An important point to be noted is that Sharma was also seen doing a special drill to prepare himself against Afridi. While he refrained from playing any horizontal shots during his net practice, he tried to play in the ‘V’ as much as possible. Moreover, he was facing throwdowns from a left-armer to rectify his vulnerability against left-arm pacers.

Besides, it was Afridi who had dismissed Sharma during the India-Pakistan clash in the 2021 edition of the T20 WC. The Pakistan pacer had dismissed the aggressive batter for a duck in that game. As a matter of fact, Pakistan had defeated India by 10 wickets during that game. However, the Rohit Sharma-led side would want to turn the tables this time around, and beat their arch-rivals. For the same to happen, India’s top-order will have to tackle Afridi. Thus, Sharma has taken the extra yard to be ready in order to be ready for the challenge.

The fourth game of the Super 12s between India and Pakistan is set to be held on October 23 at the MCG. This match is scheduled to start at 1:30 PM IST. Ahead of the much-awaited clash, Sharma drew light on how they are ready to face Pakistan’s bowlers. “Pakistan bowlers will challenge us, but we will be up to the challenge. We have worked hard and we should overcome the challenge,” said Rohit Sharma during a recent interview.

In the meanwhile, heavy rains are predicted on Sunday. Hence, the rain threat might force the Indian management to rework on their team combination. However, the chances of rain on Sunday have come down. Fans would hope that the weather doesn’t play spoilsport. While addressing the same, Sharma spoke about how the weather conditions might play a role in the team selection. Further on, he stated that he will be praying for a full 20-over match.

“Weather changing every minute. We will decide our XI tomorrow monring, see how the weather is. We have to wait till last minute. All 15 players are available for the selection. I will be praying that full 20 overs match happen. But we will be ready even if the match is reduced or curtailed. Toss can be crucial in such situations,” he added.
