Tendulkar Relives 2003 World Cup moment
Ahead of the Sunday evening clash, Sachin tweeted on his official Twitter account “Waiting for the #INDvsPAK match tonight!”.
The Master Blaster was integral part of the Indian team that won multiple matches against arch-rivals Pakistan. The clash in 2003 is remembered as one of Sachin’s best innings as he scored 98 runs before getting out to Shoaib Akhtar.
Tendulkar’s impeccable record against Pakistan
Sachin Tendulkar has scored the most number of runs against Pakistan for India in ODI cricket, 2526 runs in 69 matches (67 innings). Sachin has played the highest number of ODIs against his neighbor Pakistan and averaged 40.09. He has even hit the most centuries (5) & half centuries (16) against Pakistan.
It illustrates his love of playing against Pakistan. His highest score is 141, which he made in Rawalpindi in 2004. Sachin also owns the unique record of smashing most fours against Pakistan (294).

IND vs PAK all set to meet for 15th time in Asia Cup
- Both India and Pakistan are set to meet on Sunday as they reignite the arch-rivalry between the two nations.
- This will be the 15th time India and Pakistan meet in the Asia Cup.
- Both teams have started preparations in their respective camps while they miss their ace bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
