The Men in Blue had a fun training session ahead of the game. The players participated in a fun foot volley game. Though a couple of stars were absent from practice, namely Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj, and Mohammad Shami, the rest of the players sweated it out during the practice session.
Cricketers often play foot volley in their practice sessions, to improve their fitness and reactions. The same was seen today. Rohit Sharma in particular took an active part in playing the game. The Indian skipper lead the group from the front and was particularly seen playing the game.

As for the others, youngsters like Umran Malik, Ishan Kishan, and others too participated in the game. Vice Captain Hardik Pandya too sweated it out in the nets. In most likelihood, Pandya will be rested for the next game as he gears up for the T20 series. With the senior snot a part of the T20 reboot, Pandya will lead his pack of youngsters against the Kiwis.
On the other hand, Kohli, Siraj, and Shami were not spotted in the practice session and are enjoying an extended break ahead of the game. Despite being dubbed as a dead rubber match, the Men in Blue will not take the game easily. A whitewash against the Kiwis will ensure India becomes the No.1 team in the 50-over format.
