The Mumbai-born New Zealand spinner Azaz Patel created history in the 2nd Test by picking all ten wickets in the first innings and joined the likes of Jim Laker & Anil Kumble to take a 10-wicket haul in Test cricket.

Axar Patel too was impressive and picked 9 wickets in total in the 2-match series and also slammed his maiden Test fifty at Wankhede Test. He also returned with an unbeaten 41 in 2nd innings of the Mumbai Test.

Rachin Ravindra, who is also an Indian by origin, played a vital role in the Kanpur Test that ended in a draw. Ravindra took 3 wickets in the Mumbai Test, including the prized scalp of Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

Unfortunately, India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja got ruled out of the 2nd Test in Mumbai just ahead of the start. However, he played a crucial role in Kanpur Test as he slammed a fifty and returned with 5 wickets.
