The all-rounder has had a rather inconsistent run in the series. He scored only 28 runs in the first ODI and did not bat in the second. Earlier, in the T20 series against SriLanka Pandya scored only 45 runs in 3 games. And in the ODI series against SriLanka, the all-rounder could only score 50 runs in 2 matches. It is likely that the Indian team management will use the dead rubber as an opportunity to rest Pandya. The management can give a chance to the new player.
