The Wankhede Test had a delayed start due to wet outfield on Friday and in between Rahul Dravid was seen holding a bat and doing a bit of shadow batting. The ICC was quick to notice it and tweeted the picture of Rahul Dravid holding the bat. However, what was more interesting is the caption of the post.

“Where should India slot Rahul Dravid in?” ICC wrote in the caption. Check out –

 

 

Within minutes of posting, the Tweet went viral and garnered thousands of likes and comments. While a couple of fans commented ‘he should bat at number 3’, a few voiced to bring back Ganguly and Sachin too in the playing XI.

Coming back to the match, Virat Kohli won the toss at Wankhede Stadium and opted to bat first. The opening pair of Shubhman Gill and Mayank Agarwal stitched a fifty-run partnership for the opening wicket and gave an ideal start to the host.

As for Playing XI, Virat Kohli replaced Ajinkya Rahane while Jayant Yadav and Mohammed Siraj replaced injured Ravindra Jadeja and Ishant Sharma. For New Zealand, Daryl Mitchell replaced injured Kane Williamson while the Kiwis decided to go with three spinners as Neil Wagner stays on the bench again.
