Ahead of India’s white-ball tour, Kiwi stars Mitchell Santner and Kane Williamson have opened up about facing Men in Blue in home conditions. In a video posted by Blackcaps on Twitter, the duo shared their thoughts on the India Tour of NZ.

“We know India have been a very good side. They have been very good for a long time and they have been challenging (to oppositions) wherever they go. We can give them the first taste of New Zealand. Being a spinner can be quite challenging. There are always some good wins and tight series against them,” Mitch Santner said.

“Got 6 games in New Zealand. Its a lot of cricket coming up. It’s gonna be good,” he added.

While BlackCaps skipper Kane Williamson said it’s a big challenge facing India in any conditions.

“Any time you play India in any conditions it’s always a big challenge. They are always one of the top teams across boards. They are a tough challenge but a great opportunity. We had a number of series (against India) whether it’s home or away so yeah boys will be looking for that after the World Cup,” Kane Willaimson said.

IND vs NZ LIVE: India Tour of NewZealand

India men’s tour of New Zealand will begin from Nov 18 till Nov 30. The limited-over series will consist of three T20Is and an equal number of ODIs.

India vs New Zealand 1st T20I will be played on Friday, 18th November at the Sky Stadium in Wellington. The teams will shift bases to Mount Maunganui for the second T20I which will be played at the Bay Oval on November 20, Sunday.

The third and final T20I will be played at McLean Park in Napier on Tuesday, 22nd November. The ODI series will begin on Friday, November 25 at Eden Park. The second match will be played on Sunday, 27th November at Seyden Park. The last match of the series and tour will be held on Wednesday, 30th November at Hagley Oval.
