Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan put on a century stand as India sealed a comprehensive 10-wicket win on Tuesday at the Oval in London. While Indian captain Rohit was in full flow, Dhawan played the anchor acting as a perfect foil. It was also their fourth-century partnership as the Oval, continuing their good form in English conditions.
It was their 18th century partnership in ODIs, the joint 3rd most in the history of ODI cricket. Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar have the most century stands in ODI cricket, followed by Tilakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara. Incidentally, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma also have 18 century partnerships together.
