Umbrella turns into bat as fans enjoy rain break:
A group of fans was seen enjoying playing street cricket as the video showcased. A video posted on the social media handle of official broadcaster Sony Sports Network the fans were running riot with their rain break.
A fan-wearing turban was seen imitating Harbhajan Singh as he reminded of the former World Cup winner. The delivery bowled was played by a young boy but was caught one bounce by the fielder.
Interestingly, it was the Umbrella which turned into a bat and gave perfect example of Street Cricket at its very best. It was the traffic division cones which were used as the stumps in a hilarious manner of cricket.
Rain plays spoilsport-
- Although it was a perfect start for England, weather was always going to play spoilsport according in their quest to win the match.
- The weather broadcast department had earlier predicted light to moderate rain for the Day 1 of the Edgbaston Test.
- The rain gods were kind enough at the start of the match, but as the match progressed it was rain that took center stage.
- England won the toss and elected to field first, and the overcast conditions in Birmingham should be one of the reasons behind the decision.

India make steady recovery-
- It was one of the worse possible start for India as they lost half of the side inside 100.
- Cheteshwar Pujara was promoted to open for India in absence of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.
- However, Pujara didn’t make an impression as he departed for 13 despite having a stellar time with Sussex in County cricket.
- Virat Kohli also failed to make the most of his chances as he was dismissed for 11.
