Ind vs Eng 4th Test: Virat Kohli creates unwanted record as he falls for duck, joins MS Dhoni on this list:After a promising start to Day 2, India lost Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli in quick succession. While Pujara was lbw out to Jack Leach, Kohli was caught behind to Ben Foakes off Ben Stokes. In the process, Kohli also registered a duck. This is not the first time that Virat Kohli has been got out for a duck in the ongoing Test series. He was earlier dismissed by Moeen Ali for a duck in the second Test.
Kohli joins MS Dhoni in this unwanted list
Virat Kohli has now eight ducks in Tests as an Indian captain – the joint-most for any Indian skipper alongside MS Dhoni in Tests.
This is not the first time Kohli has registered a duck twice against England in a Test series. He had earlier lost his wickets for zero twice in England during his first tour to England in 2014.

vs Eng 2014 (Liam Plunkett, James Anderson)
vs Eng 2020/21 (Moeen Ali, Ben Stokes)
Virat Kohli’s wicket meant India were reduced to 43/3 in the opening session. The hosts need to pile a big score to make sure England do not win this match. India need at least a draw to enter the WTC Final against New Zealand in June 2021. The visitors can play a spoilsport as Australia are still in the contention of WTC Final spot.
Earlier on Day 1, Axar Patel and R Ashwin continued their prime form with the ball as India bowled out England for 205 runs. The duo scalped seven wickets while Siraj ended up with two wickets.
