Making his return to the Indian squad, Ravindra Jadeja is on the cusp of a major milestone. The star all-rounder needs just eight wickets to complete the double of 250 wickets and 2500-plus runs in Test cricket. Currently, he has a total of 242 wickets in just 60 matches. The 34-year-old played his last Test match in July 2022 against England.

Come second Test match against Australia, Cheteshwar Pujara will join the elite list consisting of Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag, and Virat Kohli among others. The right-handed batter has currently played 98 Test matches and will reach the milestone of 100 matches in the second game. The 35-year-old has amassed 7014 runs in 98 matches at an average of 44.39. He also has stroked 19 centuries and three double centuries.

Australia’s veteran spinner Nathan Lyon is six just six wickets away to complete 100 scalps against India in the Test matches. Lyon has played 22 matches against the Indian side and has grabbed 94 wickets at an average of 34. 75.
