Currently, India and Pakistan are tied with 20 wins under their belt. India secured their 20th win in the shorter format on Friday after they beat Australia in Mohali.
Interestingly, Pakistan are also set for their fourth T20 match against England on Sunday. If both the teams win their respective matches, they will once again be tied with 21 wins. This race is only going to get further interesting. India have three more matches after this series against South Africa in the shorter format. Pakistan, on the other hand, will also play three more matches against England. Following which, both the teams will be involved in the massive upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
Records are always special, but the Indian team will not be looking it at the game from that angle. There are many things at stake, especially the series on the line, which will get the best out of both the teams.
