India’s official jersey sponsor MPL Sports released the new jersey for the Men in Blue where they shifted from the Traditional Navy blue hue to a more light blue gradient. This, however, isn’t the first time that India has opted for a sky-blue tinted jersey. India donned a jersey of a similar color gradient way back in 2007 in the inaugural season of the T20 World Cup which was then ultimately won by India.
The Men in Blue will be spotted donning the new jersey in upcoming India vs Australia T20I series and then in the T20I series against South Africa scheduled to commence on 28th September.

The BCCI posted a video where the India team posed with the new jersey. BCCI took to social media to post the video with the caption, “New series 👍 New threads 💙 Renewed energies 👏 #TeamIndia | #INDvAUS”
