Team India have announced a full-strength squad for the tour
Team India permanent skipper Rohit Sharma will lead the Men in Blue in both ODIs and Tests. To note, the Indian side touring Bangladesh for a Test and ODI tour for the first time since 2015. The visitors have announced a full-strength squad led by Rohit Sharma and featuring the likes of Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. In another fact, this will be the first time that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be seen together in a Test match in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh missing some key players in their squad
Bangladesh senior batter and skipper Tamim Iqbal has been ruled out of the tour due to an injury. Similarly, the home side’s express pacer Taskin Ahmed will also not feature in the first ODI due to injury issues. Litton has captained Bangladesh once, back in April 2021 in a T20I against NewZealand. Batting at No.3, Litton bagged a golden duck as Bangladesh lost the game by 65 run.
