Rohit Sharma injured his finger during the second ODI while taking a catch in the slip. While he did not take the field during Bangladesh innings, KL Rahul took over the captaincy mantle. IND BAN 3rd ODI live: Rohit Sharma furious over half fit players playing for team India
During the post match press conference on Wednesday, Rohit Sharma was furious about string of repeated injuries to the players as well how half fit players were allowed to play for the country. He said, “Few injury concerns and we need to get to the bottom of it. Maybe they’re playing too much cricket. It’s something we have to sit down with our team at NCA and try and monitor their workload. When they come to play for India, they need to be at more than 100 per cent. We need to monitor their workload because we can’t have guys coming in to play for the country.
