Sai scored 96 runs off just 47 balls, hitting 6 sixes and 8 fours while striking the ball at over 200. The young Tamil Nadu batter has been one of the finds of the tournament but was criticized for his strike rate before the match. With this special knock, Sai also became the highest uncapped scorer in Indian Premier League Finals history. He overtook Manish Pandey, who make 94 runs against Punjab Kings in 2014.
