IEM Cologne 2021 Championship Grand Finals: NAVI takes on G2, Results Out. IEM Cologne is one of the most important events of the CS: GO community, where the best CS: GO teams in the world go head to head to claim the grand prize of $400,000 and the IEM Cologne Championship Title. The IEM Cologne 2021 is already underway and has witnessed the two best performing teams in the tournament, Natus Vincere (NAVI) and G2 Esports work their way into the final.

The performance of G2 has been excellent throughout the tournament. They dominated against the former champions, Astralis in the Semi-finals. G2 took the lead comfortably in the Nuke map by 16-6. Astralis bounced back on Dust2 by beating G2, 12-16. Finally, G2 qualified for the Grand Final by scoring 16-14 on Inferno.

NAVI has been the only remaining team from CIS. They have nailed every match they played in the tournament, and got a quite convincing victory over FaZe in the Semi-finals. NAVI won the first two maps, Inferno and Mirage comfortably by 16-7. A massive performance from Oleksandr Kostyliev pivoted the team and guided them to the Grand Finals.

IEM Cologne 2021 Championship Final Results: In the Grand Final, NAVI outclassed G2 and whitewashed them by winning the first three maps of the finals. On the Dust2 map, NAVI got ahead of G2 early and won the round by 16-11. G2 showed some resilience in the Mirage, but NAVI again outshines them by 16-14. It was now or never for G2, they started off well but quickly fell apart as NAVI landed the final blow winning Nuke by 16-13.

NAVI showcased a solid performance throughout the tournament and were finally rewarded by the title of IEM Cologne 2021 Champions and a grand prize of $400,000. NAVI have proved themselves that they are the best CS: GO team in the world.
