ICC WTC Final: Sanjay Manjrekar’s chat leaked, says Ravindra Jadeja doesn’t know English – Check out – Ex- India cricketer turned commentator Sanjay Majrekar has landed in yet another controversy. Last week it was around R Ashwin while this time it is around India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. A Twitter user has leaked the chat where has allegedly said that Jadeja does not know English.
Sanjay Manjrekar controversy: A Twitter user named Soorya Narayan shared chat screenshots of Manjrekar, where he said,” “Sad state you are in. Expecting me to worship players like you do… by the way I am not a fan. I am an analyst. And Jadeja doesn’t know English so he did not know the actual meaning of bits and pieces. And surely somebody spelt verbal diarrhoea for him.”
So far, Manjrekar has neither confirmed nor denied the authenticity of the controversial screenshots shared by The Twitter user.
Sanjay Manjrekar controversy: This is not the first time that Manjrekar landed in a controversy with Jadeja. During the 2019 World Cup, he called Jadeja ‘Bits and Pieces’ player. On which Jadeja replied, “Still i have played twice the number of matches you have played and i m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved.i have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea. @sanjaymanjrekar.”
A few days back, Manjrekar said that he has a problem with calling Ashwin ‘all-time great’.
Sanjay Manjrekar controversy: “All-time great’ is the highest praise and acknowledgement given to a cricketer. Cricketers like Don Bradman, Sobers, Gavaskar, Tendulkar, Virat, etc are all-time greats in my book. With due respect, Ashwin is not quite there as an all-time great yet. #AllTimeGreatExplained,” Manjrekar had tweeted on Sunday.
Now it will be interesting to see how Jadeja reacts to this news.
