However, the win will reduce India’s deficit to four points behind New Zealand. The result will see Australia 3rd and England at fourth, with Virat Kohli and Co. maintaining a sizeable 14-point lead over the former.

IND vs ENG: If India draws the Test and wins series 2-1

Should India draw the final Test at Old Trafford, they will bag the series 2-1 courtesy of their wins at Lord’s and the Oval. The result will see India rake in 120 rating points, six behind New Zealand’s tally. Australia and England will remain third and fourth respectively,, with only a point separating the two teams.

The result will see England rise to third with 109 points, one ahead of Tim Paine’s Australia who would then drop down to fourth.
