The Pakistani bowlers bowled furiously at the net practice each bowler hitting 150 kph in the process. Hayden praised Shaheen Afridi by saying ‘He is the Best Bowler’. Returning from his knee injury, Pakistan speedster Shaheen Afridi enjoyed his time in the practice. He said, “The bounce on the pitch is very good. It feels good to bowl after 2 months and I am enjoying it here.”
Jokingly Hayden revealed that Afridi gave his nickname ‘Premium’. The Australian great heaped praises for the young bowler. He said, “He is the best bowler almost in the world. For me, it is about getting his confidence back now. His pace will return with his confidence.”
Shaheen Afridi was spotted training with Shaun Tait who has been a devastating bowler in his time. Hayden went on to discuss the pitch conditions of the Gabba pitch. The bounce in the pitch is very high and therefore it becomes very difficult to score runs.

Hayden spoke to Fakhar Zaman about the pitch conditions and how to score runs there. “I like these conditions where the ball comes onto the bat. It is a true bounce and it plays wonderfully into my game. I am so happy to be a part of the team after the injury and looking forward to the tournament.”
Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam was seen toiling hard in the practice session. Hayden said, “Babar is a naturally gifted player who presents the full face of the bat. His technique is superb and he has adjusted well to these conditions. He is a mark above everyone else when it comes to basic techniques.”
In the team huddle, Hayden addressed the entire squad with some positive feedback to encourage and motivate the entire squad. He said, “We have got the fastest bowling attack on the planet. Yes, we are gonna bowl slow balls, but we are gonna knock the stumps over. Today we start this session and not before winning the World Cup”
