ICC T20 World Cup: The International Cricket Council (ICC) is gearing up for 3 Men’s World Cup in the next 3 years. The global governing body of cricket has issued an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for clothing at upcoming ICC events. The ICC requires a Workforce, Match Officials & Match-day Clothing provider who will be responsible for providing clothing and apparel requirements at its events across the world.

This ITT is intended to attract responses from companies with extensive experience in providing clothing and apparel for global sporting events and organisations Following the ITT process, companies will be notified if their submission was successful. The ICC has asked that the responses should be emailed to clothing@icc-cricket.com by 9 April, 2021.

ICC Sponsors: IPL 2021 sponsor Upstox & BharatPe to join ICC sponsor list from WTC Finals

ICC Sponsors: Meanwhile the sponsor list for the International Cricket Council (ICC) tournaments is growing by the day. Right before the World Test Championship finals between India vs New Zealand, ICC is all set to seal deals with IPL 2021 Central sponsor Upstox (Online Trading company) & with Online Payments company BharatPe.

This is in addition to recently announced sponsorship deals with Byju’s & yet to be officially declared deal with Himalaya Drug Company.

ICC Sources confirmed the conversations with the brands to InsideSport.co but refused to confirm the signings. According to the industry experts, the reason for Indian brands lapping on to ICC Sponsorships is very simple – that two of the next 3 ICC World Cups are to be held in India and brands want to be part of these marquee events.

Other than this hype around ICC World Test Championship finals between India and New Zealand in June has further fueled this interest. All the new signings by the Global governing body of cricket will be also part of sponsorship integration during the WTC Finals.

IPL 2021: Upstox entering cricket in a big way – The Online Trading company off-late is making big investments in cricket. Though the BCCI is yet to officially announce the deal but according to the information available with InsideSport.co, Upstox has already signed as IPL’s official partner and now on the verge of sealing deal with ICC. Upstox is one of India’s fastest-growing brokers and online trading platform. ICC deal will be Mumbai based company’s second big investment into the world of cricket advertising.

BharatPe to sign deal as ICC Sponsor: Flushed with funding, fintech platform BharatPe had signed up 11 Indian national level cricket players as its brand ambassadors last year and now soon will be seen as ICC Sponsor. The players comprise Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Suresh Raina, Jasprit Bumrah, Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw, Sanju Samson, Mohammed Shami, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Shubhman Gill.
