India vs Group A Runner-up – Thursday, October 27
India vs South Africa – Sunday, October 30
India vs Bangladesh – Wednesday, November 2
India vs Group B Winner – Sunday, November 6
T20 World Cup Format: The top eight teams directly qualified for the showpiece event based on rankings. The reaming 8 teams will play at the qualifying stage. From the qualifying stage, four teams will make it to the next round and join the main teams. The groups are divided in Group A and B with five teams being placed in both groups.
Each team will play once in the group stage. The team who wins the maximum number of matches advances through to the semis. Two teams from each team make it to the semis. From there only two go to the finals.
