India didn’t have a plan in 2019 – Yuvraj explained his previous experience and said, “When we won the World Cup (2011), we all had a set position to bat. I felt 2019 World Cup; they didn’t plan it well.”
Not taking Ambati Raydu was a big mistake – Yuvraj further spoke on the need of having Ambati Raydu and how different things could have been, “They got Vijay Shankar to bat at 4 with just 5-7 ODIs, then they replaced him with Rishabh Pant, who had played 4 ODIs.”
“When we played the 2003 World Cup, Mohammad Kaif, (Dinesh) Mongia and I had already played 50-odd ODIs,” added Yuvraj.

Team India set sights on T20 World Cup in 2022 – Team India will be determined to end the nine-year drought this year as they will enter the T20 World Cup in October with winning ambitions. The Indian team hasn’t won the World Cup in the shortest format since the inaugural edition in 2007 and will be determined to go better this time.
Yuvraj’s success with Team India – Yuvraj was big hit with the Indian Team, batting at No 5 and 6 and was the ‘Player of the Tournament’ in the 2011 World Cup. Yuvraj who scalped 15 wickets with the ball, scored 362 runs in the tournament, as his valiant effort led India to World Cup glory. Yuvraj was also part of the Indian team that won the 2007 T20 World Cup to complete a set of ICC World Cups.
