miHoYo released the latest update on Genshin Impact on July 21, 2021. With the version 2.0 update, Genshin Impact introduced a new region known as Inazuma with many new characters and features. Thunder Sojourn is the first new event of Genshin Impact version 2.0 in the Inzuma region. The event starts on July 22 and will run through August 09. Thunder Sojourn is divided into four different acts and consists of a simple set of challenges. Players can complete these specific challenges to get various rewards like Primogems, Talent Ascension materials and even Beidou.

To take part in the Thunder Sojourn event, players will need a minimum of Adventure Rank 30 and need to complete the Inazuma Archon Quest and “Ritou Escape Plan”. Once players have completed the quests then they will find the Thunder Sojourn event page and start off with the event.
Genshin Impact revealed that players will earn Thunder Pellets and Thunder Crystals by completing different challenges in all four acts of the Thunder Sojourn event. Players can exchange their Thunder Pellets and Thunder Crystals in order to get their hands on Beidou. All the four acts namely Act I: Bolt Blitz, Act II: Lightning Round, Act III: Weaving Lightning and Act IV: Automation Front will offer players with new challenges and enemies that they have to beat and will get a significant amount of Thunder Crystals and Thunder Pellets as rewards.
Players can exchange Thunder Crystals and Thunder Pellets in the event shop to get items like Talent Books, EXP Books, Mora, Primogems, Crown of Insight and Ascension materials. After completing the Thunder Sojourn event, players can go to the “Oceanlord’s Oath” event page, where they can exchange 1000 Thunder Crystals and 1000 Thunder Pellets and get Beidou in return.
