As per an ETimes report, the Jodhpur High Court has disposed of the case lodged by Dr Meghwal against Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul and Karan Johar. The trio have been declared “innocent”. A case had been registered against the cricketers and the filmmaker under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The litigation was based on a complaint filed by DR Meghwal at Jodhpur’s Luni police station three years earlier.
The controversy had taken quite the storm with public outrage levelled specifically at Hardik Pandya for his ‘vulgar’ and misogynist comments. The BCCI intervened soon and both Rahul and Pandya were dropped from the team. The duo had been in Australia for the ODI series but were sent home.
Hardik and Karan Johar both apologised for the same on Twitter soon after the public outrage.

Reportedly, Hardik was also caught in the storm for his comments about Dr BR Ambedkar. As per a Koimoi report, The cricketer had written, “Which Ambedkar? The one who drafted a cross law and constitution or the one who spread the disease called reservation in the country.”
Reportedly, Dr Meghwal is said to be a member of Rashtriya Bhim Sena. Along with the Koffee with Karan fiasco, she also filed a petition against Hardik Pandya for “insulting Ambedkar and hurting the sentiments of the people of his community.”
