Happy Father’s Day: Hardik Pandya pens emotional message for his father

Happy Father’s Day: Indian allrounder Hardik Pandya remembered his father Himanshu on the occasion of Father’s Day. He penned down an emotional message for his father who passed away at the age of 71. Pandya in his Twitter post said how he learned about fatherhood from Himanshu and will carry the legacy in his own journey as a dad to Agastya.

Papa, there’s so much about fatherhood that I’ve learned from you. The love & guidance that you’ve shown us has helped us become who we are today. I promise to take everything that you’ve taught me on my journey of fatherhood with Agastya. We love you, we miss you,” he wrote.

Himanshu Pandya suffered a heart attack passed away in January.

Happy Father’s Day: Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings batter Suresh Raina also remembered his father and described how he has been a driving force in Raina’s life.

Wishing a very #HappyFathersDay to my father. Your resilience, selfless love & lessons of life is what makes me who I’m today. You are my powerhouse of strength who silently & constantly keeps pushing me forward in life. Wishing you lots of love, health & happiness always,” he wrote.

Yuzvendra Chahal, who is currently in quarantine in Mumbai ahead of India tour of Sri Lanka, also shared a special message for his father.
