GTA Online The Contract: It has been 8 years since GTA 5 was launched and finally Rockstar Games is letting the players know what happened to the characters of GTA 5 via a new expansion known as GTA Online The Contract. Earlier this week, we saw Rockstar Games revealed the new expansion for GTA Online known as GTA Online The Contract which features Franklin Clinton from GTA 5 and the popular west coast rapper and producer, Dr. Dre.

The new expansion continues the story from GTA 5 and reveals what had happened to the GTA 5 protagonists which includes Franklin, Trevor and Michael. GTA Online The Contract shows that Lamar Davis is still hanging out with Franklin and roasting him as usual. Franklin Clinton now has kids and is living a peaceful life, quite unconventional for a Grand Theft Auto protagonist. So, What about the other two protagonists from GTA 5, Michael and Trevor? GTA 5 players will remember that in the end of the game Franklin was given two options, one to kill both of them and the other was to work with them and it seems Rockstar games had plans to unite them again.
After 8 years of wondering, fans finally got the evidence from GTA Online The Contracts that Michael is still alive and living his dreams. During the game, players will be driving through a movie set in the middle of a chase when Franklin realizes that one of the producers is known to him. This clearly refers to Michael who had a dream job of becoming a movie producer at the end of GTA 5. Rockstar Games have very wisely presented the fact that Michael is still alive. We can expect a full feature of Michael in the later expansions of GTA Online.
