Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya playing together triggered a meme fest on social media as the former rivals reunited at the Lucknow Super Giants on Monday. Both Hooda and Krunal made the playing XI in the opener against Gujarat Titans, more than a year after their fight while with the Baroda team. Hooda had then launched a complaint against his then captain Krunal, and eventually left the team and signed up with Rajasthan.
Coming to the game, Hooda scored a fine fifty and Krunal was seen applauding on the sidelines as the former rescued the team from a tricky position after Mohammed Shami had reduced Lucknow to 29/4. Krunal came out and did his bit to propel his side to 150+ score.
However, the moment that broke the internet happened while Lucknow took the field, as Krunal and Hooda hugged it out while celebrating an early Gujarat wicket.
