Preventive healthcare company GOQii and actor Akshay Kumar have welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Fit India Movement’.
Launched on the occasion of the National Sports Day, Fit India Movement aims to encourage people in India to stay fit and healthy by inculcating physical activities and sports in their everyday lives with a pledge to walk 10,000 steps daily.
In support of the movement, GOQii has announced the launch of its #FitIndia specdiaal edition tracker. Its brand ambassador Akshay Kumar will be taking the fitness pledge on the GOQii app, on August 30 at 12 noon.
GOQii will also be running several promotions and deals on the GOQii Health Store to encourage more Indians to adopt a holistic healthy lifestyle.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Modi had launched the Fit India Movement in the presence of the sports minister Kiren Rijiju and National Sports Awards winners.
