Seemed like all these options were definitively dismissed as it was later confirmed that the shareholders will not sell Scuderia Alpha Tauri and that Red Bull will continue supporting the team in the future.

Red Bull will continue supporting the team in the future. All these rumours have no foundation, and the team has to remain focused for the start of the season to perform better than last years. Alpha Tauri’s performance in last season might not have been up to the mark but this year, they are focusing more on it’s improvement in every aspect.

While the Red Bull F1 team has been doing so well in the track over the past few seasons, AlphaTauri has been sliding backwards.

AlphaTauri is the sister concern of Red Bull Racing, two F1 constructors owned by Austrian beverage giat Red Bull.

Alpha Tauri was established in 2006 as Toro Rosso with young drivers from Red Bull’s talent pool getting a chance to feel the fastest racing tracks in the world.

This F1 team was established in 2006 as a squad in which young drivers from Red Bull’s prodigious talent pool could cut their F1 teeth. The team stood at the ninth-position in last year’s championship which clearly means it has become more expensive for Red Bull to maintain.

The advisor Helmut Marko confirmed about AlphaTauri remaining in-house as it is an important part of their junior work. Now this might mean that Red Bull has to look at ways to improve its performance both on and off the track.

Marko explained about looking for solutions and alternatives to change the team’s sporting and financial performance.

In an interview, Marko opened up about how AlphaTauri’s ninth place in the constructors’ championship was unexpected. They expected to be in a better position but that’s not how it happened. It’s no secret about how the financial commitment at AlphaTauri is too high. Marko mentions about having to do something on the sponsor side.

The advisor was questioned about a satisfactory result for the team and its drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Nyck de Vries would be in the 2023 F1 season. Marko replied “anything between sixth and seventh is acceptable.”
