  • Sebastian Vettel holds the most wins in a season by a driver (13) which came in the 2013 season while driving for Red Bull.
  • Vettel has most pole positions in a season (15) which came in the 2011 season.
  • The third record goes for the most laps led in a season (739) which again came in the 2011 season.
  • The most consecutive wins in F1 also go to Vettel as he managed (9) straight wins from the 2013 Belgian GP to the 2013 Brazilian GP.
  • The fifth record held by Vettel is for the most consecutive grand slams (2) that came at the 2013 Singapore GP and 2013 Korean GP.
  • The most wins from pole position (9) in a season is also held by Vettel and this came in the year 2011.
  • He was also the youngest Grand Prix pole position winner at 21 years, 72 days and this came at the 2008 Italian Grand Prix (13th September 2008) while driving for Toro Rosso.

  • Meanwhile, he was the youngest driver to score a double (pole position and race win) at 21 years, 73 days at the 2008 Italian Grand Prix (14th September 2008).
  • Vettel also holds the record for the youngest driver to score a hat-trick (pole position, race win, and fastest lap) at 21 years, 353 days at the 2009 British Grand Prix (21st June 2009).

Formula 1: Sebastian Vettel became the youngest driver to score a hat-trick (pole position, race win, and fastest lap) at the 2009 British GP.
  • Then comes the biggest of all as he is the youngest Formula One World Drivers’ Champion at 23 years, 134 days in the 2010 season while driving for Red Bull and he achieved this feat on (14th November 2010).

  • The German driver also holds the youngest World Drivers’ Championship runner-up at 22 years, 121 days in the 2009 season and he achieved this feat on (1st November 2009).
  • The record that he will not like to have under his name is for the shortest time elapsed before gaining a penalty and this happened to him within 6 seconds of his F1 career at the 2006 Turkish Grand Prix on 25th August 2006. The reason for getting this penalty was he overspeeding in the pit lane.
