Meanwhile, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen won the last year’s Belgian GP on a rainy day as the race only saw two laps behind the safety car in which George Russell claimed his first podium finish with P2 followed by Lewis Hamilton in P3.
The record for the most wins as a driver in the Belgian GP goes to the legendary driver Michael Schumacher as his tally is 6 wins. The current drivers present on the grid and on the list include Lewis Hamilton (4), Sebastian Vettel (3), and Max Verstappen (1).
Meanwhile, the record for the most wins as a constructor goes to none other than Ferrari as their tally is (18) wins. The next team on the table is McLaren which has (14) wins under their belt.
Moreover, Max Verstappen is leading this year’s drivers’ standings with 258 points and he recently won his eighth race of the season in the form of the Hungarian GP. He is followed by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc with 178 points as Sergio Perez is only five points shy of the Monegasque driver with 173 points.

Red Bull is also leading the charts in the constructors’ standings as well with 431 points as they enjoy a healthy lead over second-placed Ferrari who have 334 points. Mercedes is nearing them as they have cut down the deficit to just 30 points while the Silver Arrows have 304 points to their name.

Furthermore, the summer break will end on 25th August as the Belgian GP starts on the 26th of August with the race taking place on 28th August at the iconic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
