The in-game notice by KRAFTON for BGMI players says, ” BGMI servers will be unavailable for a while to come up with a better and bigger experience. While we are working to give you a seamless experience, your account will be safe and your progress till now will be retained. We will keep you informed with further developments and the release dates through our social media platforms.”

BGMI Launch Date in India
KRAFTON CEO Kim Chang Han mentioned that that BGMI will resume its service this month. The Esports events will as usual be back. Reportedly, Tesseract Esports and Nodwin Gaming might organize and manage the events. Talking about the potential of India, KRAFTON India CEO Son Hyeon il said, ” India is a strategically important country in the global market for KRAFTON, and we are doing our best to vitalize the Indian gaming ecosystem by investing and nurturing talents. We will continue deliver game experience and enjoyment, and actively communicate and cooperate with Indian Government. “
On the other hand, GodLike Esports owner, Kronten informed us that the game would return in four to five days. According to him, the estimated dates are around 21 or 22 May. So, players might see the title returning in the last week of May (as per Kronten). So, as of now, the BGMI community is not clear about the actual release date. KRAFTON will take the necessary time to go through changes and reintroduce the title. So, these are about the latest news regarding its return.
