Gabriel right on money!

What a turn of events this has been! Shannon Gabriel strikes again-this time it’s Ollie Pope. FOW-279/8

Dom Bess out!

Wide of the crease, full and fast. Pins Bess to the middle stump line with his angle and this holds it line to beat the edge and hit the stump. FOW-278/7

Added time

Another 20 minutes or so to go of the added time. How the match has changed in the hour gone by. England were cruising an hour ago, looking to put WI under pressure. Now the tables have turned again. Bess, who was dropped, and Pope have managed to stem the flow of wickets as of now. Gabriel introduced into the attack, follows up with similar fire as his colleagues as well. ENG lead by 162

Wicket! Buttler is bowled.

Wicket! England are losing the plot at the fag end of Day 4. Alzarri knocks over Jos Buttler’s stumps. Buttler looked positive but has fallen for 9. West Indies are all over England at the moment. They have opened the door. ENG 265/6

Zak Crawley dismissed for 76

Crawley, who is the highest scorer in the match so far put up an exemplary batting display to keep England’s chances in the game alive. Another soft dismissal off an attempted flick. Crawley looked so good and he’s dejected at popping one back at the bowler. FOW-253/5

Holder gets Stokes

Big moment! Holder gets Stokes! Twice in the match the skipper has got his counterpart’s number. Stokes, who was looking so good, goes for 46. Was looking to be in some discomfort against Holder. Tried something different. Tried to step across the crease. Holder responded by firing it in a bit wide. Stokes got an edge that was pouched at gully. England lose their 4th. FOW-249/4

Crawley the highest scorer of match so far!

Crawley moves into his 70s. Stokes is accelerating at the other end as the England score moves along with intent. We are now into the last hour of the day and the action is heating up. This partnership worth 89 valuable runs now. Some brilliant running between the wickets by this pair as well. Holder seen warming up.

Drinks taken as Crawley is hit

Roach winds up Crawley with a blow that pounds right into where he didn’t want to be hit. Drinks are taken as the batsman takes a breath. Stokes walks up to his junior with an understanding smile. Crawley, the 21-year-old, on 67, has the highest score in the Test so far.

80 overs – ENG 208/3

The 80 overs are up. Time for a barrage of fast bowling? Not yet. Chase seen having a chat with Gabriel as he begins the 81st. England, on 208/3, have crossed their first innings total of 204 already. ENG lead by 93

Play resumes

Roston Chase will continue with the attack.

Tea Break, Day 4

Denly chipped straight to short midwicket! Another one perishes softly against Chase. FOW-151/3

England takes lead!

A crunching boundary from Joe Denly puts England in the lead, ahead by 3 runs. The score moves to 117/2. England have lost a second wicket in Dom Sibley.

Gabriel strikes!

Dom Sibley walks back to the pavilion after scoring a clinical half-century. FOW-113/2

Aaand we are back!

The English batsmen will try and keep the momentum going while the Windies pacer will be looking for a breakthrough early into the final session of Day 4.

Lunch, Day 4

Chase Strikes!

Burns looks to go just a little too hard with the cut shot and ends up slicing it straight to backward point. A pity that, Burns was looking good for more. FOW-72/1

West Indies have regrouped well after drinks. Chase a lot better in his approach, flighting the ball nicely and making the batsmen circumspect with their feet movement. The next hour promises to be really engaging.

50-run partnership

Rory Burns 34* and Sibley 16* bring up 50-run partnership as England off to a steady start. Poor start from Jason Holder with a wide delivery.

ENG start strong

No swing in the first half-hour of Day 4. The hosts start strongly. Pitch looks perfect for batting. England could score big in this second innings. Ball might not reverse in the lateral part of the innings thanks to Saliva Ban.

And we are underway!

“Jerusalem” is playing over the PA, Looks like Kemar Roach to start things off, four slips in place.

We are just 30 minutes away from the start. Will the Windies bowlers do an encore or will the English batsmen prevail. Stay tuned.

England currently trail by 99 runs as they resume Day 4. Dom Sibley and Rory Burns will take the crease as they try to weather the Windies pacers.
