- Although Ben Stokes wasn’t set to return to white-ball cricket under Eoin Morgan, there is a change in plan.
- Under Jos Buttler’s captaincy, Test captain Ben Stokes is an important member.
- Stokes will return to ODI cricket after over a year.
- Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow have also not played any ODI cricket in the last one year.
- But considering both are in form of their lives, they will return.
- Bairstow will open the innings with Jason Roy while Joe Root is likely to take the No 3 slot in the 1st ODI.
- Jos Buttler, designated opener in T20s, is set to go back down the order and play as a finisher.
