ENG vs PAK, 3rd ODI: Pakistan’s Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shadab Khan engage in fight during final ODI – Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman and all-rounder Shabad Khan engaged in a fight during the final ODI against England at the County Ground, Chelmsford on Wednesday. Pakistan’s poor display in its 3-0 defeat to England’s second-string team in the one-day series was indefensible.

ENG vs PAK, 3rd ODI: In the final ODI, the match was evenly poised as Pakistan posted a tough total of 331. Chasing the target Three Lions batter Lewis Gregory was batting at 77 off 68 balls. Against the bowling of Haris Rauf, Gregory top-edged one in the air, the ball went straight up and it was wicket-keeper Sarfaraz Ahmed’s catch. However, Shadab Khan came from mid-off and took a great catch. Angry with Shadab, Sarfaraz started scolding him and left without celebrating the wicket.

ENG vs PAK, 3rd ODI: Former Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batsman Kumar Sangakkara expressed his views on the catch and said, “Sarfaraz Ahmed had no interest in going for that catch, yet Shadab Khan was being told off by Sarfaraz for taking a catch that should have been taken by the wicket-keeper.”

In the third ODI England snatched victory from the jaws of defeat and whitewashed Pakistan 3-0 in the series.
