DC vs KKR Dream11 IPL 2020: Kolkata’s youngsters in excellent form
Shubman Gill, in KKR’s last fixture against Rajasthan Royal played a responsible and mature knock of 47 to help KKR post a competitive total of 174. With his deft strokeplay and rich repertoire of strokes, Gill has impressed everybody and will be hoping to continue the momentum in their upcoming match.
India’s U-19’s star pacer Shivam Mavi too shone with the white leather against the Royals. He bowled four overs and picked up two crucial wickets in the form of Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson . The right-armer conceded only 20 runs in his dream spell. For his outstanding performance, Mavi received the ‘Player of the Match’ award.
Another U-19 star, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, playing his second IPL game, bowled just two overs and picked up two crucial wickets of Robin Uthappa and Riyan Prarag in one over.
The duo of Nagarkoti and Mavi, who are two of the most talented young pacers in India picked two wickets apiece and conceded just 33 runs in the 6 overs they bowled among themselves.
DC vs KKR Dream11 IPL 2020: Three must-have players in your fantasy team
1. Andre Russell
Andre Russell hasn’t yet set the IPL on fire yet but looked to be finding the top gear in the last game. He scored a quickfire 24 of 14 balls against RR, which included 3 massive sixes, but was unfortunately dismissed before he could explode fully.
Nevertheless, with the extremely short boundaries, Dre Russ is sure to get a promotion in the batting order, and it would be blasphemous not to have him in your team. If Russell gets going, it will be impossible to stop him
2. Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant, who has had two incredible preceding seasons, hasn’t been striking the ball as cleanly as he is known to. But Sharjah could be the perfect venue for him to unleash himself. With an IPL career strike rate of 160, and more than 1000 runs in the last couple of years, we are aware of the destruction Pant is capable of.
3. Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill has been one of the most impressive batsmen in this year’s IPL, with 124 runs in 3 games. He has looked calm and unflustered while batting and has hardly played any false shots. He has also displayed an ability to keep finding the gaps regularly.
DC vs KKR Dream11 IPL 2020: Sixes records can get broken
The most sixes records can also get broken as Andre Russell’s brute power will meet its match in Rishabh Pant’s fearless approach when Kolkata Knight Riders face Delhi Capitals with an aim to light up the Sharjah skyline in what promises to be another six-hitting IPL contest on Saturday.
Russell gave a glimpse of what is in store with three sixes on a big Dubai ground against Rajasthan Royals while Pant will be itching to throw caution to the winds and play his natural game of destructive edge of the seat hitting.
In fact, Pant needs it more than Russell as three of his peers, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson have all got runs under their belt, something that the beefy man from Roorkee so desperately needs.
