Anrich Nortje, who was injured before the start of the season, entered the Delhi Capitals camp and continued his rehab. - During the last game, DC handed debut to left-arm seamer Chetan Sakariya. Sakariya impressed by picking up a wicket and conceding just 17 runs in his 3 overs. He will definitely retain his place in the XI.
- Rovman Powell, who has finally played a good knock with the bat in the last game with 33 runs off just 16 balls will retain his spot in the playing XI.
- Mitchell Marsh, who made his return to the playing XI in the last game after recovering from Covid is likely to be given another opportunity in the side after scoring 13 off 7 balls. Tim Seifert will have to spend his time longer on the bench.
