The game is part of the World Group I playoff-tie which will be held on the lush green grass courts. Both the nations will meet for the first-time since 1984 in a Davis Cup tie, where India won 3-2.

SURFACE:

The surface chosen for this fixture is grass. The last-time India played a Davis Cup fixture on grass was in July 2016, when it beat Korea 4-1 in Chandigarh. India is said to have chosen this surface as it suits Yuki Bhambri and Ramkumar Ramanathan. The Indian team would look to exploit the home advantage and emerge victorious.
