CWG 2022 Esports- Commonwealth Esports Championships 2022: The Group Stage of Commonwealth Esports Championships 2022 is over now. After two days of Group Stage matches Indian DOTA 2 team made it to the Bronze decider match on CEC 2022. The team will compete with New Zealand in the Third place decider matches. The match-up between India vs New Zealand will take place on 7th August 2o22. For live updates on CWG 2022, follow InsideSport.IN.

Indian DOTA 2 team started the journey at Commonwealth Esports Championships 2022 with a match-up against Trinidad & Tobago. India got a walkover in the match since the opponent team didn’t show up at the event. On the second day of the group stage, India defeated Wales in their first match which led the team to the playoffs. In the last match of the group stage and playoffs round 1, the Indian team didn’t perform well and lost against England and Malaysia respectively.

“The more complicated a game is, the more I like it”, he says. Ejaz first got into gaming when his father bought a PC for work when Ejaz was around seven or eight years old. “I was always into games, I always liked playing. At some point, I saw ads and stuff on a website about DOTA and I decided to give it a go. 

Though it was only after four years that he thought about pursuing gaming as a career. “My advice for others would be to just give 100 percent to achieve your dreams. You don’t need to force yourself to play something just because some title is more popular. Just play the game that you love and commit 100 percent to it.”

  • 4:00 pm IST: Rocket League (Open) – Grand Final
  • 5:30 pm IST: eFootball Series (Open) – Third Place match
  • 6:00 pm IST: eFootball Series (Open) – Grand Final

Day 1 – Session 2:

  • 7:30 pm IST: DOTA 2 (Womens) – Third Place match
  • 10:30 pm IST: DOTA 2 (Womens) – Grand Final

Day 2 (7th August 2022)

Session 1:

  • 3:00 pm IST: Rocket League (Womens) – Third Place match
  • 4:00 pm IST: Rocket League (Womens) – Grand Final
  • 5:30 pm IST: eFootball Series (Womens) – Third Place Match
  • 6:00 pm IST: eFootball Series (Womens) – Grand Final

Day 2 – Session 2:

  • 7:30 pm IST: DOTA 2 (Open) – Third Place match
  • 10:30 pm IST: DOTA 2 (Open) – Grand Final

Indian DOTA 2 team will battle for the Third Place match against New Zealand on 7th August 2022 at 7:30 PM IST.
