Icing on the Cake – The chocolate cake presented to Dhoni had pictures of him on it where he successfully guided and helped the team end 28 years of drought. Players like Ambati Raydu, Ruturaj Gaikwad were seen in the hotel room where the cake cutting took place. Members of the team management also joined the celebration while CSK prepare for their upcoming contest against PBKS.

Man of the Match in the final – The final will go down as one of MS Dhoni’s best innings as he steered Team India to the title with an unbeaten 91 as he launched the final ball to six. The moment went down in golden words in Indian sports history as Dhoni became just the second Indian to captain to lift the ODI World Cup after Kapil Dev.

Most successful captain in Indian cricket – MS Dhoni is by far regarded as the greatest captain in Indian cricket history as he won the T20 World Cup, Champions Trophy and the IPL on four occasions.
