CSK vs MI in IPL 2021: Mumbai Indians Ishan Kishan, Trent Boult aim to continue solid performance against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings – Defending champions Mumbai Indians are all set to take on arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings in the opening match of the IPL 2021 phase 2 here at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. Wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan and premier pace bowler Trent Boult are confident of a solid performance against MS Dhoni’s CSK. The duo were star performers when MI took on CSK in IPL 2020 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

“Boult and Ishan reflect on their performances in the clash vs CSK at Sharjah last year   #OneFamily #MumbaiIndians #IPL2021 #KhelTakaTak @ishankishan51 @MXTakaTak MI TV,” Mumbai Indians wrote in the caption of Ishan and Boult’s video.

“Vividly remember, I vividly remember, I suppose getting a couple of wickets in the powerplay. The umpire in the first over somehow denied me the wicket. But Polly was the captain and he took the review. And I got the wicket. Bumrah was coming in from the other end, very nice as well,” Trent Boult said.

“When I got to know that I’ll be opening because Rohit Bhai was injured. So I was happy. Also at the same time and I was nervous. It was pressure for me somewhere. The coach was Happy everyone was happy for me as they knew I’m gonna perform. My parents always think that when Imran Tahir comes to bowl I get out because I got out 2-3 times as I went for six. I talked with my seniors and they suggested that I should play Imran as an off-spinner,” Ishan Kishan said in the video.
