Cristiano Ronaldo scripts history, becomes first player ever to score 100 club goals in 3 different countries- Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has become the fastest player to score 100 goals for Serie A club Juventus on Wednesday. He reached the mark by scoring just before half-time against Sassuolo in Serie A action by scoring a goal in a 3-0 win over Sassuolo. The Portugal-based player has netted 100 goals in 131 games for Juventus. As a result, he has become the first Juventus player to ever do so in less than three seasons.

In the match, Despite Sassuolo’s attacking efforts, Juventus would prove to be more ruthless in front of goal and they went two goals clear on the brink of half-time. Earlier, Omar Sivori and Roberto Baggio required less than five seasons to reach the 100-goal mark. But Ronaldo achieved the feat in only his third season. He had joined Juventus from Real Madrid ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

Besides this, Ronaldo has become the first player in history to tally more than 100 goals with three different clubs and his national team. They are Manchester United, Real Madrid and Portugal.

Ronaldo has one year remaining on his contract. As per reports, he may move to Manchester United or MLS. He helped Juve to Serie A titles in his first two seasons with the club, but he’s failed to lead them to Champions League. In this season, Juventus failed to qualify in Serie A top 4.
